Team Building on the Sunshine Coast With Zero Trust Falls

Say "team building" in any office and watch the room tense up. People picture trust falls, icebreakers about their "spirit animal", and a facilitator with a lanyard and a whiteboard.

Good news: team building doesn't have to be like that. The best team building activities on the Sunshine Coast don't feel like work at all.

What actually makes team building work

• A shared goal. People bond fastest when they're trying to beat another team.
• A level playing field. Pick something where the graduate can beat the managing director. Morale skyrockets.
• Time to talk. The real bonding happens over food and drinks after the activity, not during the PowerPoint.
• Zero humiliation. Nobody should leave needing a holiday to recover.

Golf simulator team challenge

Split into teams across our 7 simulator bays (6 ProTee and 1 Trackman) and run a points-based challenge: closest to the pin, long drive and a few holes of team play. Every shot is measured, so there's no "creative" scorekeeping.

Darts knockout tournament

With 6 interactive darts bays, you can run a full knockout bracket. The cameras keep score, so nobody needs to know the rules, and nobody can fudge them either.

The golf and darts rotation

For groups of 20 or more, rotate teams between golf and darts every 30 minutes, then finish with food, final scores and a ceremony for the winners (and the losers).

Other Coast options

Escape rooms, cooking classes, brewery tours and beach activities are also popular, depending on how brave your team is.

A 3-hour session that works

1. Arrival and drinks (20 minutes)
2. Round 1: golf simulator challenge (45 minutes)
3. Round 2: darts tournament (45 minutes)
4. Food, final scores and prizes (70 minutes)
